We specialize in design and construction of drainage systems to protect foundations, retaining walls, crawl spaces and basement spaces (this includes French drains, waterproofing, downspout drainage, and more); foundation repair and replacement; earthquake / seismic retrofitting renovations and upgrades; entry stairs and porches; and basement digouts.
We don’t do inspections or estimates on homes that are for sale or that are in escrow. We only do estimates and we don’t do inspections or consulting. If you are purchasing a home and need work done please contact us after the sale has completed.
We do not bid on plans or design-work provided by outside designers, architects or engineers. Our fixed bids and design-build budgets include all project costs.
Based on over 30 years of experience, working with thousands of clients, your job will fall into one of two categories:
1. Fixed bids for basic structural work. Most foundation repairs or replacements, concrete work, drainage jobs, stairs and porches, and earthquake retrofitting fall into this category. It simply means we will give you a fixed price for the job.
2. Design-build for more complex structural work. This means we will give you a budget or a range of costs for the job based upon the scope of the work. View our discussion of design-build to see how this works (and some common pitfalls to be wary of).
Our job minimum is $10,000 – $20,000. This is because we work with a large crew, and are not set up to take on small projects.
